About the Role Due to continued growth and a busy pipeline of civil and mining infrastructure projects, this contractor is seeking an Intermediate–Senior Estimator to join their commercial team.
You’ll be a key player in developing competitive, first-principles estimates that shape the success of large-scale tenders—working closely with engineering, delivery, and leadership teams to turn opportunities into projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing detailed, accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across mining and civil scopes
• Interpreting drawings, technical specifications, and scopes of work
• Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to source and negotiate competitive pricing
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to develop practical bid strategies
• Contributing to value engineering, risk analysis, and final tender presentations

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years’ experience as a Civil or Mining Estimator (contractor-side preferred)
• Strong grounding in first principles estimating and cost planning
• Proficiency with tools such as Expert Estimation, Candy, or similar
• Strong commercial insight, technical understanding, and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who works well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
