Intermediate/Senior | Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor
Summary
Managing all commercial & contractual matters in relation to the project while working closely with clients; mining, private & public sectors.
Essential criteria:

Essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor within civil or construction contracting
- Strong understanding of contract structures, commercial risk and legal implications
- Experience working within contractor delivery environments across infrastructure, civil or industrial projects
- Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar

Due to recent project wins and a solid performance in past projects, they are now in the market for driven and experienced Contracts Administrators to join the teams.
The Position
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of projects from pre contract through to final account.
Depending on your background as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
Skills and Experience
- Administration of head contracts and subcontract packages
- Preparation, negotiation and letting of subcontract agreements
- Managing client and subcontractor variations
- Assessment and submission of progress claims
- Administration of extensions of time and contractual notices
- Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Measuring and valuing works completed on site
- Preparing cost reports and monitoring project financial performance
- Procurement and purchase order management
- Maintaining RFIs, registers and document control systems
- Supporting final accounts and project closeout
You will be commercially astute, detail oriented and confident managing risk while maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
