We are seeking a high-performing Senior/Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial and commercial design & construct projects valued up to $30M – $75M. The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of major new build projects, overseeing everything from early design coordination through to construction completion and handover.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams across site supervision, safety, subcontractor engagement, procurement, financial management, and programme delivery — ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.

This is not a “process-only” PM role. our client is looking for someone who can think commercially, remove delivery barriers, and proactively drive outcomes in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery of D&C projects (design, procurement, contracts, construction & handover)
• Full financial management including cost control, forecasting & margin protection
• Programme oversight ensuring time-critical milestones are achieved
• Leadership of site teams, consultants & subcontractors
• Driving strong safety culture and environmental compliance
• Managing projects in complex environments including:
  
  • Brownfield/live operating sites
  • Regional logistics challenges
  • NPI infrastructure
  • Various other standout projects
• Building trusted client relationships and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions
• Ensuring compliance with Australian building codes, engineering standards & quality benchmarks
• Continuous improvement of delivery processes and team performance

 What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience delivering commercial D&C projects
• Recent experience managing projects valued between $30M–$75M
• Strong understanding of Australian construction codes and regulations
• Proven leadership in safety management
• Exceptional stakeholder and client relationship management skills
• Commercially astute with balanced risk-based decision-making capability
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex new build projects
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
