The Opportunity

A leading civil & infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor / Safety Coordinator to join their project team on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.

Working across large-scale civil construction projects, you will play a key role in supporting site teams and maintaining a strong safety culture across operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure works while being part of a supportive & safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HSE guidance and support to site teams.
  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety-first culture across project sites.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of the HSE Management System.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and internal audits.
  • Prepare safety documentation, reports and compliance records.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project safety requirements.
  • Work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive continuous safety improvement.

About You

  • Experience in civil construction safety roles across roads, infrastructure, earthworks or mining projects.
  • Certificate IV in WHS / OHS (or equivalent qualification).
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety management systems.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • White Card and current driver’s licence required.
