The Opportunity

A leading mining contractor is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join their team on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth.

This role is supporting a newly awarded contract, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work across a well-established WA mining operation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE / Safety support across site operations
• Promote and reinforce a strong safety-first culture across crews
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations (ICAM)
• Perform site inspections, audits and compliance checks
• Deliver toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety training
• Support implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and mining safety standards

A well-known Western Australian civil contractor delivering bulk earthworks, site preparation, and infrastructure support across mining and construction projects, recognised for large-scale machinery capability, efficient delivery, and strong safety performance across both remote and metropolitan works.

About You

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) – Diploma highly regarded
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) is a distinct advantage
• Strong understanding of WHS Act, Regulations and safety systems
• Experience in incident investigations, audits and risk management
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage site teams and supervisors
