About the Role
We are seeking an experienced FIFO HSE Advisor to support a leading civil & mining contractor across major projects in WA. This role is focused on providing on-the-ground safety support, monitoring compliance, and ensuring safe work practices are consistently applied on site.
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments in line with project requirements.
  • Assist in incident reporting and investigations (ICAM/5 Whys) and support corrective actions.
  • Deliver site inductions, pre-starts, and toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, hazard trends, and compliance with WHS legislation and company systems.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and the site workforce to promote a positive safety culture.

About You

  • Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within civil construction, mining, or heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, ISO 45001, and site safety systems (INX, CRM or similar).
  • Trained in incident investigation (ICAM highly regarded).
  • Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum requirement); Diploma in WHS highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
