The Opportunity
A leading civil & infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor / Safety Coordinator to join their project team on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
Working across large-scale civil construction projects, you will play a key role in supporting site teams and maintaining a strong safety culture across operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure works while being part of a supportive & safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE guidance and support to site teams.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety-first culture across project sites.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of the HSE Management System.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and internal audits.
- Prepare safety documentation, reports and compliance records.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project safety requirements.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive continuous safety improvement.
About You
- Experience in civil construction safety roles across roads, infrastructure, earthworks or mining projects.
- Certificate IV in WHS / OHS (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety management systems.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- White Card and current driver’s licence required.
