The Company 

A well-known civil contractor within the civil and infrastructure space. This company has built up a strong brand working in WA and interstate. They have a solid portfolio of clients within the civil, resources and transport sector with solid team culture and pipeline to projects for the coming years.

With momentum gaining in their WA operations, they are currently looking to expand their team with a positive and driven Civil Project Manager who is looking to take the step up to Project Management – experience in concrete/formwork, bridges, structures etc. They will also consider an experienced Senior Project Engineer looking to take the step up to Project Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a number of civil projects coordinating with the internal/site teams and liaising directly with other contractors and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience: 

• Proven civil contracting experience in the roads, infrastructure, and mining civils space – concrete/formwork, bridges, structures
• Hands-on Project Management/ Project Engineering/ technical experience in areas such as earthworks, steel/concrete structures, mine site infrastructure etc.
• Ensure all civil projects are managed on budget, completed on time, delivered to a high quality with the view to making good margins for the company
• Work with the commercial team to complete project proposals, tenders, budget estimates, cost planning and schedules.
• Ensure and plan for the resourcing and efficient use of plant, machinery, equipment and materials on civil projects
• Successfully build working relationships with other contractors, clients and key stakeholders to ensure a continuation of future works and also for the opportunity to get on new tender opportunities
• Work closely with your Project Engineers, Senior Supervisors to ensure efficient delivery, prioritisation & productivity of their projects & crews
• Ideally possess Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar– PM qualifications would be well regarded.
