About the Role

This FIFO on Site HR Advisor role forms part of a broader HR function supporting multiple project sites. You will provide end to end HR support to site management and employees across several FIFO operations. 8/6 Roster.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing high volume ER and IR casework including grievances, investigations, performance management and probation processes.
  • Conducting workplace investigations including witness interviews, drafting allegations and preparing detailed investigation reports.
  • Maintaining accurate case trackers and HR documentation including warnings, PIPs and outcomes.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to prepare compliant HR and ER documentation.
  • Delivering ER and IR training through toolbox talks, pre starts and structured sessions.
  • Supporting organisational initiatives including restructures and end of project processes.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders including HR, Payroll, Legal and operational leaders.
  • Promoting positive employee engagement and respectful workplace behaviours on site.

About You:

  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a FIFO Site HR Advisor role within mining, civil construction or facilities management is a must.
  • Strong end to end ER and IR experience including investigations and case management.
  • Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act and general WHS obligations.
  • Confidence working autonomously across varied on-site environments.
  • Strong judgement, attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Ability to influence and respectfully challenge operational leaders.
  • Calm and measured approach in high pressure situations.
