$128M STUDENT ACCOMMODATION TOWER PROPOSED FOR PERTH
Perth’s growing student accommodation sector is set for another major development, with plans unveiled for a $128 million residential tower in Northbridge.
The proposed 22-storey development, located at 97–99 Stirling Street, would deliver approximately 720 student beds, helping to meet increasing demand for purpose-built student housing in Western Australia.
The project would feature modern student living facilities, including communal dining areas, study spaces and shared amenities, creating a centrally located accommodation option close to Perth’s major education institutions and transport networks.
The proposal reflects continued investment in Perth’s residential and education infrastructure, with the city’s expanding international student population driving demand for additional accommodation.
If approved, the development would represent another significant addition to Perth’s construction pipeline, creating opportunities across building, engineering and associated trades during the construction phase.
With major residential and mixed-use developments continuing to emerge across the CBD and surrounding suburbs, projects of this scale highlight ongoing confidence in Western Australia’s property and construction sectors.
The development is currently progressing through the planning assessment process, with public consultation underway.
