Joint Statement – Work on $175 million Albany Ring Road to begin

Decmil Southern Pty Ltd has been chosen to deliver the $175 million Albany Ring Road Construction project. Set to begin in September, this project will unlock hundreds of local jobs. According to Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack, the Albany Ring Road is an important piece of infrastructure that will underpin the economic success of the Great Southern Region. Scheduled to be completed in 2023, the project will improve connections between major freight infrastructure which includes airports and commercial and industrial areas to create more economic opportunities. Joint statement – $223 million to unlock hundreds of local WA infrastructure jobs

To show its support to construction jobs across Western Australia, The Morrison and McGowan governments have invested an additional $223 million to deliver shovel-ready infrastructure projects and urgent road safety upgrades. The investment infrastructure would play a critical role in the Commonwealth’s JobMaker plan and help the Western Australia economy.
