HSE Advisor – Metro| Commercial / Industrial Construction

An established WA contractor delivering commercial and industrial construction projects across Perth is partnering with ECi to appoint an experienced HSE Advisor to support safety performance across active project sites.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys being site-facing, working closely with operational teams and subcontractors to drive practical safety outcomes across live construction environments.

Your New Role

• Support project teams across active commercial and industrial construction sites
• Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, and site leaders to promote safe work practices
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Review SWMS, risk assessments, and construction activities to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Assist with delivering site safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and training activities Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement across site safety systems and culture

Your Experience

• Previous experience in a HSE / WHS Advisor role within commercial, industrial, or construction environments
• Strong understanding of Australian construction processes and high-risk work activities
• Experience working closely with subcontractors and operational site teams
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation
• Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders across site environments
• Practical and solutions-focused approach to safety management

Your Qualifications

• Cert IV in WHS (Essential)
• Working at Heights and Tilt-Up experience (Highly regarded)
• ICAM or investigation training
