Project based in a well-established regional community in South-East Victoria.

An established Australian contractor is partnering with ECi Executive to appoint an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to support the delivery of a major marine infrastructure project based in South Gippsland.
  
This is an opportunity to join a respected project team delivering specialist piling and structural works within a high-risk marine construction environment. You’ll work closely with project leadership, subcontractors and the client to drive practical safety outcomes while fostering a positive site culture.
  
We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates based within commuting distance of the project in Victoria, including Leongatha, Foster, Welshpool, Yarram, Traralgon, Warragul, Wonthaggi and Pakenham.

Your New Role

• Provide frontline HSE leadership across piling and structural construction activities
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations and risk assessments
• Lead incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Review and maintain project HSE documentation, SWMS and risk assessments
• Coach and support operational teams to ensure compliance with legislative and client requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting successful project delivery

Your Experience

• Previous experience as a Senior HSE Advisor, HSE Advisor or Safety Advisor within construction, civil, marine or infrastructure projects
• Exposure to piling, structural steel, bridge, marine, port or heavy civil construction will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of high-risk construction activities and contractor management
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and facilitating risk management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships on site
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety as a minimum (Diploma highly regarded)
• ICAM Investigation training will be highly regarded
