An established WA commercial builder is partnering with ECi Executive to appoint an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects.

With a strong pipeline of work and directors who remain actively involved in the day-to-day business, you’ll play a key role in supporting project teams while continuing to strengthen safety culture across the organisation.

Your New Role

• Lead Health, Safety, Environment & Quality across multiple commercial construction projects
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors to deliver practical HSEQ support
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, mentoring and visible leadership
• Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments
• Maintain and continuously improve HSEQ systems, compliance and reporting
• Support project teams to achieve practical safety outcomes while maintaining project delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business

Your Experience

• Previous experience within a commercial construction HSE/HSEQ leadership role
• Strong understanding of principal contractor responsibilities and high-risk construction activities
• Experience working across commercial building, education, healthcare, industrial, retail or government projects
• Confident building relationships with Project Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and clients
• Practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to positively influence teams on site

Your Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Essential)
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in WHS (Highly Regarded)
• ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training (Desirable)
