KARRINYUP’S $500M WEST VILLAGE MOVES INTO CONSTRUCTION

Blackburne’s $500 million West Village development has moved into construction, with Multiplex delivering the main works on the Karrinyup apartment project.

The milestone comes more than four years after approval, taking the long-awaited development from planning into delivery.

Adjoining Karrinyup Shopping Centre, West Village will bring luxury residences and resort-style amenities to a location connected to established retail, dining and entertainment facilities.

The development includes two, three and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, with generous balconies and views towards the coast, surrounding parklands and Perth’s skyline. Blackburne reports that more than 70 per cent of residences have already sold.

For Western Australia’s construction sector, the project adds $500 million in residential development to Perth’s active pipeline. Delivery of a project of this scale is likely to draw on expertise across engineering, project management, commercial management, building services and site operations.

With main works now underway, West Village marks a significant next step in Karrinyup’s evolution as a residential, retail and leisure precinct.
