About the Company

ECi Executive is partnering with an established WA civil and mechanical contractor delivering projects across the mining, infrastructure, water and industrial sectors.

With a strong pipeline of awarded and upcoming work across metropolitan and regional WA, the business is looking to make two key permanent appointments across its project delivery team.

We are interested in speaking with experienced Project Managers and Construction Managers from civil, bulk earthworks, mining infrastructure, mechanical or SMP environments who are looking for a long-term opportunity with an established WA contractor.

The Opportunities

These are senior project delivery positions with responsibility for the safe, commercial and successful execution of projects from planning and mobilisation through construction, completion and handover.

Depending on your experience, you may be responsible for a major project or oversee multiple work fronts, working closely with engineering, commercial, estimating and site delivery teams.

Projects may include:

• Bulk earthworks and detailed civil works
• Mining and non-process infrastructure
• Structural, mechanical and piping packages
• Concrete and associated infrastructure
• Water and utilities infrastructure
• Regional and metropolitan construction projects

The positions will involve a combination of Perth-based responsibilities and regional project/site involvement, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion and handover
• Lead project and construction teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site personnel
• Manage project programs, budgets, forecasts, procurement and cost controls
• Monitor productivity, progress and commercial performance against project targets
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractor requirements across multiple work fronts
• Work closely with commercial and estimating teams on project planning, variations and contractual requirements
• Maintain high standards across safety, quality and environmental performance
• Identify and manage project risks, constraints and delivery issues
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Provide clear reporting on project performance, programme, cost and delivery

Your Background We are looking for established project delivery professionals who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager within civil construction, mining infrastructure, mechanical or SMP projects
• Strong exposure to civil, bulk earthworks, infrastructure and/or SMP project delivery
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets, forecasting, cost control and project reporting
• Experience leading engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities across active construction work fronts
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience delivering projects within WA’s mining, resources, infrastructure, water or industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
