ECi Executive is partnering with an established WA civil contractor seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to join their project leadership team.

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced civil construction professional ready to take ownership of site delivery across significant resources projects.

You will provide leadership across multiple work fronts, managing S26 Supervisors and working closely with project management, engineering and client teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Initially working a 2:1 FIFO roster, the position offers the opportunity to join a contractor with a strong forward workload and genuine potential for longer-term roster flexibility as the role develops.

The Role

Reporting into the project leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of civil construction activities on site, including:

• Lead, mentor and support a team of S26 Civil Supervisors
• Coordinate multiple crews, work fronts, plant and subcontractors
• Oversee bulk earthworks, roadworks, embankments and associated civil works
• Plan and coordinate daily and short-term construction activities
• Monitor progress against programme, productivity and project targets
• Drive high standards across safety, quality and project delivery
• Identify construction constraints and work proactively with the wider project team
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and client representatives
• Ensure resources are effectively allocated across active work fronts
• Maintain strong communication between site delivery and project management teams

About You

You will be an experienced civil construction leader with a strong background delivering projects within the mining, resources or major civil infrastructure sectors.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Civil Superintendent, Construction Superintendent or Construction Manager
• Strong bulk earthworks and civil construction experience
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple Supervisors and construction crews
• Experience delivering mining or resources-based civil projects
• Strong understanding of plant, labour and subcontractor coordination
• Proven ability to manage programme, productivity, safety and quality requirements
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
• Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contracting experience highly regarded
