Residential Drafter / Designer (5+ Years’ Experience Required) 

Are you an experienced Residential Drafter or Designer with at least 5 years’ experience within the WA residential construction industry?

ECi Executive is partnering with leading luxury custom home builders across Perth, seeking experienced Drafting & Design professionals to join high-end, design-focused teams.

You’ll manage residential projects from concept through to construction documentation, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare residential drafting and documentation packages.
• Produce working drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Manage design changes, client variations, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure documentation complies with WA building codes and standards.
• Support the successful delivery of multiple residential projects.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential drafting or residential design within the WA market.
• Local WA residential building experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of WA residential building codes, R-Codes, and construction methods.
• Experience working with custom luxury home builders will be highly regarded.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept design through to construction documentation.
• Proficiency with ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
