Western Australia’s residential development pipeline is continuing to build momentum, with the Cook Government unlocking four key landholdings across Huntingdale, Henley Brook, Orelia and Alexander Heights for new housing developments.

The sites are expected to deliver more than 200 residential lots, creating fresh opportunities across residential construction, civil works, infrastructure servicing and trades throughout Perth’s growing suburbs.

The developments include:

• 115 residential lots in Orelia;
• 59 lots and new public open space in Huntingdale;
• 19 residential lots in Henley Brook; and
• 11 residential lots in Alexander Heights.

The land releases are expected to drive further demand for builders, civil contractors, engineers, planners and utilities providers as new communities continue expanding across WA.

With housing supply remaining a major priority, the announcement represents another positive step for the State’s construction sector, supporting ongoing economic activity, job creation and long-term growth across the residential development market.
