The Opportunity

An established and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior to Principal Structural Engineer to join their Perth team.

With continued growth across buildings and infrastructure, this is an opportunity to step into a technical leadership role, working closely with Directors while leading project delivery and mentoring junior engineers.

You will play a key role in delivering multi-disciplinary structural projects, while also contributing to team development, client relationships and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and delivery across commercial and high-rise projects
• Manage projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery
• Liaise directly with clients, architects and multi-disciplinary teams
• Provide technical leadership and oversight on design outcomes
• Mentor and support junior engineers and drafters
• Review and approve design documentation and calculations
• Contribute to project planning, resourcing and delivery strategy

About You

• 8–12+ years’ experience in structural design consulting (buildings sector)
• Strong experience across commercial, residential high-rise or similar projects
• Proven capability working with steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Proficient across relevant structural design software
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
• Ambition to step into a Principal / leadership-level role
