The Opportunity

An established WA commercial contractor is seeking a driven Contracts Administrator to join their Perth team.

With a strong pipeline of commercial build and fit-out projects secured, this is an opportunity to step into a hands-on delivery role where you’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers and leadership.

This is not a back-office position – you’ll be embedded in project delivery, playing a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of projects from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects
• Administer subcontractor and client variations
• Assess and process progress claims and invoicing
• Prepare, negotiate and award subcontract packages
• Manage procurement processes and purchase orders
• Maintain RFIs, registers and document control systems
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
• Support final accounts and project closeout
• Attend project meetings and contribute to commercial outcomes
• Work closely with Project Managers to manage cost, risk and margin

About You

• 3+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in commercial construction or fit-out
• Strong understanding of WA construction contracts and commercial frameworks
• Experience with contract management systems and project software
• High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
