The Opportunity
  
ECi Executive is partnering with a number of established civil and mining contractors across Western Australia, seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers for a range of current and upcoming projects.

Opportunities span bulk earthworks, roads, mining infrastructure, utilities, water infrastructure, structural concrete and FRP, with positions available across Perth Metro and regional WA.

Whether your background is in large-scale mining civils, MRWA roadworks, concrete structures or general civil construction, we’re interested in speaking with engineers who have strong contractor-side delivery experience and are confident managing projects from planning through to completion.

Projects & Scope of Works.

Our clients operate across a range of civil construction disciplines, including:

• Bulk Earthworks & Mining Civils: Large-scale cut/fill operations, haul roads, embankments, TSF construction, site preparation and bulk excavation.
• Roads & Pavements: MRWA road upgrades, highway construction, intersections, drainage, pavement construction, asphalt and spray sealing.
• Mining Infrastructure / NPI: ROM pads, access roads, laydown areas, airstrips, camp infrastructure and associated civil works.
• Concrete / FRP & Structures: Formwork, reinforcement, concrete foundations, bridgeworks, culverts, retaining walls and structural concrete packages.
• Utilities & Water Infrastructure: Underground services, water and sewer pipelines, stormwater drainage, pump stations and associated civil infrastructure.
• Marine & Coastal Infrastructure: Marine structures, wharves, jetties, piling and associated civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil construction packages from planning and procurement through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee construction programmes, methodologies, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, variations, progress claims and commercial reporting.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, ITPs, RFIs, inspections and compliance with project specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders to achieve safety, quality and programme requirements.

About You

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent relevant engineering qualification.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer within civil construction, mining infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong contractor-side delivery experience across one or more of the above disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage construction packages, subcontractors and site teams.
• Sound understanding of project programming, procurement, cost control and contract administration.
• Strong technical, commercial and leadership capabilities.
• Previous WA civil or mining project experience will be highly regarded.
