The Company
Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across land development, urban infrastructure, subdivisions and civil engineering throughout Western Australia.
With a growing pipeline of work and long-standing client relationships across both the public and private sectors, they continue to secure exciting projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join their collaborative and high-performing team based in Busselton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early career engineer looking to develop their technical skills while working alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of land development and subdivision projects across the Southwest.
The Role
Working closely with experienced engineers and project teams, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a variety of land development and infrastructure projects across WA.
This role offers hands-on exposure to all stages of project delivery and provides an excellent platform to build a successful career within a respected engineering consultancy.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the design and delivery of land development and subdivision projects
- Supporting the preparation of civil engineering designs for roads, drainage, earthworks and associated infrastructure
- Assisting with design documentation, reports and technical drawings
- Working closely with senior engineers, designers and project stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery to client and council requirements
- Contributing to technical solutions across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments
- Participating in site inspections and project coordination activities
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or currently completing final year studies
- 0 to 3 years’ experience within civil engineering, land development or infrastructure projects
- Strong interest in land development, subdivisions and urban infrastructure
- Willingness to learn and develop technical engineering skills
- Exposure to AutoCAD, 12D or similar civil design software is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Positive attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term engineering career
