$110m new Mandurah Estuary Bridge in WA, creates 500 local jobs as preferred builder is announced!

The duplication of the Mandurah Estuary Bridge, located south of Perth in Western Australia, is moving forward towards construction. Georgiou Group has been chosen as the preferred contractor to design and build the project.

The $110 million project will create a second, two-lane bridge on the south side of the existing one. Additionally, a four-meter-wide shared path will be built to improve community connectivity and recreational access. A universally accessible fishing platform will also be provided.

The new bridge is expected to be completed by late 2025, providing safer and more efficient transport and generating around 500 local jobs.

Georgiou Group has significant experience in bridge construction in the region, including the Mandurah Traffic Bridge completed in 2018. The project, jointly funded by the Australian and Western Australian Governments with each contributing $55 million, aims to alleviate congestion and enhance safety for commuters.
