Major construction has started on the METRONET New Midland Station project, a cutting-edge train station in the center of Midland, Western Australia, after development authority was granted last month. The modern three-platform station near Midland Town Centre would improve connectivity to Midland Gate Shopping Centre and Health Campus. Western Australia’s 2023-24 Budget has been announced, showcasing $13.6 billion worth of investment over the next four years in transport infrastructure, including 23 new train stations. New jobs data from the ABS for March 2023 show WA’s economy remains strong. A record 1.53 million Western Australians were employed in March, including the highest ever level of full-time employment. The strong result has been underpinned by women finding full-time employment growing by more than 10% over the past 12 months – a terrific result. The $100 million proposal includes a surfing lagoon (with over 25 different kinds of waves), a boutique surf hotel, a health and wellness centre, a beach club, restaurants and more – just 20 minutes’ drive from the CBD. Perth to get $4.3b dry dock facility in Henderson defence precinct

The federal government has committed around $4.3 billion for a new dry dock facility in Perth. The project is expected to support 500 jobs during the peak of construction and 2000 when it’s built. It would be the country’s second dry dock which would be used to build and maintain large ships. Fortescue unveils plans for 5.4 GW project in Australia

The Multibillion-dollar Uaroo Renewable Energy Hub project is on the way as Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) filed the environmental documents with the West Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
